High Temperature precipitation hardening, nickel - based alloy with particularly high hot strength and hot yield strength up to 750 degrees C and excellent creep resistance up to 700 degrees C. Bohler L718 has a comparably high hot strength than normal hot work tool steels particularly in applications with high mechanical and thermal stresses. Popular applications include gas turbines, aerospace engines, and chemical processing applications.
Standard Specs: AMS 5662, ASTM B673, UNS 07718
