BOHLER S790 Microclean®

This grade is a Cr-Mo-W-V alloyed material with high wear resistance, high compressive strength, very good through-hardening properties, good toughness, very good dimensional stability on heat treat, very good temper resistance. This material has a well balanced chemical composition, which makes it suitable for a wide range of cutting applications. The combination of toughness, wear resistance and hot hardness are unique and provide for an extended tool life for tools exposed to high cutting temperatures.
